Mr. Anand Ghaniger leads the Placement & Training Department at Global Academy of Technology with nearly two decades of experience as a placement officer. He holds an MBA in Marketing and brings valuable corporate exposure from handling distribution and channel management roles—giving him a strong understanding of industry expectations.

For close to 20 years, he has successfully:

• Built and sustained strong recruiter networks
• Driven student training in aptitude, communication, and interview skills
• Managed end-to-end campus placement processes

Under his leadership, placement outcomes have consistently grown, with more recruiters, better offers, and higher student employability.

Mr. Vinod Gangadhar

General Manager – Training & Placements

Vinod Gangadhar is a seasoned professional in Project Management, Training, Placements, and Corporate Relations, with over 33 years of experience spanning IT, talent acquisition, campus hiring, and academic–industry partnerships.

Currently serving as General Manager – Training & Placements at Global Academy of Technology, he has built strong corporate networks, facilitated 1,000+ student placements, and led strategic industry collaborations, Centres of Excellence, and employability initiatives.

Over the course of his career, Vinod has held leadership roles at organizations including Ingersoll Rand, PTC Software (India) Pvt. Ltd., Electronic Data Systems, Mphasis, and HCL Technologies.

Mrs. Kavyashree A Poonacha

Assistant General Manager - Career Counselling, Training and Placement

Mrs. Kavyashree Poonacha comes with extensive corporate and academic experience. She began her career with Hewlett-Packard and then spent more than a decade at TCS in Audit and L&D functions, including campus hiring processes.

At GAT, she looks after training, employability enhancement, and placements. She has extensive corporate connect and understands the expectations of industry, which helps her in effective training and placement of Engineering and MBA students.

Roopa V Neelannavar

Assistant Placement Officer

An accomplished HR and Placement Professional with strong experience in human resource management, training & development, campus recruitment, and industry relations. She is currently working as Assistant Placement Officer, actively involved in coordinating campus placement drives and recruitment operations.

Roopa brings valuable industry exposure from reputed organisations such as LAPP India Private Limited, GAIL (India) Limited, and Shahi Exports, with hands-on experience in strategic HR operations and recruitment processes.
